Space for the overnight summer camp is limited. Submit interest as soon as possible – we look forward to seeing you!
Come run with us this summer! Our overnight camp at the Blowing Rock Conference Center will have it all — running, strength work, speakers, activities and a lot of fun.
In the heart of Western North Carolina, the Blowing Rock Conference Center has gorgeous views, spacious patios and fields, a gym, basketball court, putt-putt, pool, and outdoor volleyball. When we aren’t running, we’ll be able to spread out, rest, and have some fun.
The trails at Moses Cone Park, Bass Lake, Trout Lake, and Fire Tower will be the heart of our runs. We will cover injury prevention, explain the value of various workouts, hear from experienced coaches and runners, and so much more.
A sample day looks like this:
- Up and at ‘em
- Guest speaker
- Free time
- Second workout

Get a group of 5 or more together and you ARE a team. This can be school related, but doesn’t have to be. We do need a team name, though, so get creative.
The primary dates are Sunday, July 17 – Thursday, July 21. There is an option to add on through the weekend, Thursday, July 17 – Saturday, July 23. . In order to accommodate those campers, we MUST have enough register to stay through the weekend.
If a runner comes in his or her own vehicle that can transport him or her to various run locations, that is “with transportation”. If a runner is dropped off without any vehicle, that is “without transportation”.
There is a special option for you up there! You can register for the additional days. The camps are in the same place, so we will help coordinate the moving of rooms.
YES and it’s the camp option without lodging. It will work just like a day camp where you drop off and pick up each day. It’s a lot less expensive and just as beneficial.
We expect to have a wide range of abilities at camp. Our staff will make sure that each runner will be challenged in an appropriate way for the individual.
We love coaches! If you would like to attend with your team of 5 or more, you will only pay for meals. Please contact us if you have a different situation.
The camper will come to the Blowing Rock Conference Center on Sunday, July 17 by noon. Check in will be at noon. There will not be transportation to the camp.
The Conference Center provides linens and sheets. A pillow is recommended because your own pillow is just cozier. For a list of all that they provide, please check out the site. If you have any questions at all, please contact the Conference Center.
Yes. We will take field trips to town for important things like ice cream or snacks. Spending money is suggested.
Yes. Please contact us.
The meals will be provided by the Conference Center and we will do our best to accommodate. We will make sure that each runner has really good meals!
